The Smith Family 3D Printed Miniature – Escape from Dulce captures the once-idyllic nuclear household transformed after an ill-fated 1940s atomic test site picnic. Although they appear posed in familiar domestic unity, the mutation beneath the surface tells a different story. As a result, the sculpt blends satire with body horror.
The model emphasizes contrast between posture and corruption. Upright stances evoke mid-century optimism, while tentacled elements disrupt the symmetry. In addition, layered textures create depth across clothing, limbs, and base details. Consequently, the miniature reads as both narrative commentary and tabletop threat.
We manufacture every piece in-house using high-resolution resin systems. Therefore, surface detail remains crisp and small mutations retain definition. Each model arrives primed in Citadel Wraithbone White, so painters can begin immediately with vintage palettes, irradiated effects, or dramatic shadow work.
Because each unit is produced to order, please allow up to two weeks for production prior to shipment.
